THANKS TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS!
We’d like to extend a warm thank you to everyone who supported our recent crowdfunding campaign for the Father’s Day Film Tour of California. While we didn’t reach our fundraising goal, your contributions help cover quite a few of our expenses. Most importantly, the campaign and tour opened some doors, which will surely help the film find more appreciative viewers. So thanks again for your generous support!

SUPPORT THE FILM
Dear friends and fans of FORGETTING DAD,
We’re looking for all kinds of support to help us spread the word about the issues of brain trauma and mental health which the film raises. After the world premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam IDFA in November 2008 and at screenings around the world since then, it has once again become apparent how much of a taboo topic mental illness is, and how much needs to be done to improve the relations between patients, their families and doctors.
To this end, we are looking for supporters to help us in many ways, including:
– spreading the word about FORGETTING DAD by helping with Internet networking with forums and groups dealing with brain trauma and mental health issues
– help organize and host special screenings of the film and / or speaking engagements for Rick and his family. This could include hosting a house party or sponsoring an event.
– donations of frequent flyer miles so Rick and his family can present the film personally at more film festivals and special screenings
– financial donations to help offset the expenses Rick, his family and the film crew are incurring in presenting the film at film festivals and special screenings worldwide
We’re still in the beginning stages, and could use all the help we can find. If you’re interested, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
